All of our classes are practiced on a yoga mat making it zero impact and safe for all levels of fitness. Whether you're an athlete or haven't exercised in years, Bikram Yoga Avondale's yoga and Pilates classes provide a challenging, effective and safe way to improve your health and overall well-being.

While we can't say your experience will be easy, we know that with determination and patience, you can change your life from the inside out - physically, emotionally, and mentally. We've seen it happen countless times.


What is Bikram Yoga?


Bikram Yoga is the original hot yoga. Every class is beginner’s-level series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises practiced in a heated room. The heat warms your muscles allowing for a deeper and safer workout, increases circulation and cardiovascular benefit, and cleanses the body by flushing toxins.
 


The series was scientifically designed to stretch and strengthen every muscle, ligament, tendon and joint, and promote the development of a strong, lean, and more balanced body.

 
When you practice the postures, you are stimulating the organs, glands, and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to healthy working order, and helping limit the effects of aging. By practicing concentration and determination along with your yoga postures, you will experience mental clarity, improved focus, and reduced stress.

We recommend a minimum of 3 classes per week to experience optimal results. The more you can practice Bikram Yoga, the better you will feel.



What is Inferno Hot Pilates?


Inferno Hot Pilates is a full body, low impact training system that combines Pilates principles with high intensity interval training performed in a heated room.


The heat helps loosen muscles and the humidity makes you sweat: elevating your heart rate, boosting metabolism and promoting detoxification.


The high intensity interval training keeps your heart rate up, helping you burn fat and increase fitness levels. The Pilates principles sculpt your body, creating long lean muscle mass and a strong core.
